 As you looked over the railing of the ship, you silently cried. Your family had been murdered right in front of you and all you could do to survive was give your body to the captain. The captain was a cocky man who smirked all too often.

‘One day…..’ you thought, ‘One day I’ll kill him as revenge!’

It quickly grew dark and the crew had long gone to dinner. Yet, you never moved from your spot on the deck. Soon you heard the captain come behind you.

“Don’t pout liebe.” He grabbed your waist and pulled you to him.

“Shut Up!” You struggled against him, but he had a firm hold on you.

“Now don’t be that way. I saved you.”

“No, I wish you had killed me!”

“Killed you?! A beauty like you? I have never killed anyone, and neither has this crew” He chuckled to himself. You began to blush until what he last said began to settle

‘Never killed anyone……… How I saw pirates? I heard the screams. I saw those flaming red eyes…..’

“You swear you and this crew haven’t killed anyone.”

“Now, you listen Miss ___________ I am a pirate, but I don’t kill people. I scare them into what I look for. You have what I want, so I need you alive.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about” You finally were able to pull out of his reach and stormed off. You stomped up the stairs to the stern and began to think again.

‘What exactly does he want from me?! I have no money. I have no talents. Hell I haven’t even gone on my first date.’ You laugh at yourself. You look towards the stars and see a shooting star. You begin to wish out loud “I wish I look more attractive.”

Now you really were laughing at yourself. You sighed and went to sit on the stairs leading back down to the deck. Soon enough one of the most eventful days of your live came to an end and you fell asleep.
